Set your body to burn stored belly fat for fuel

You have been dieting, exercising, and losing weight, but still you cannot lose that belly fat. 

Here is my Way #2 on Ways to loose belly fat.

For 3 or 5 days – Include more protein choices in your menu than heavy carbs to boost your metabolism.

Why?  Protein will lower your insulin levels, helps you curb your appetite and boost your metabolism to use stored fat as fuel, burn more calories.  This means that you will be burning belly fat.  Fact is that consuming more carbs than protein have the risk of storing fat, if not using all calories during the day. 

What do I mean?  Simply, if you keep eating mostly carbs (bread, rice, pasta, candies, cakes) and low protein choices, at the end of the day you will be piling on empty calories which become stored fat … and guess where that fat usually goes?  …. you got it!  Usually goes to our BELLY, our MIDSECTION, BUTT, LEGS…

This is why this week you will set your body to burn stored belly fat by adjusting your weight loss menu.  You dont have to go to extremes.  During this week, you can have your carbs, but the KEY is to have 1 or 2 protein choices in every meal.

For example,

Breakfast

  • 2 or 3 protein choices (eggs, *protein shake, yogurt, soya, milk, tofu, etc) 
  • Fresh fruits
  • whole grain cereal rich in protein, such as GO LEAN (13 gr. of protein)

Snack

  • 1 or 2 protein choices
  • green tea

Lunch

  • 1 protein (chicken, turkey)
  • Fresh vegetables or steamed
  • Fresh fruits
  • 1 small potato, or brown rice

Snack

  • 1 or 2 protein choices
  • 1 fruit (you can have fresh mint with fruits)
  • green tea

Dinner

  • 1 or 2 protein choices, such as chicken without skin.
  • Fresh green salad or mixed.  Use lemon or apple cider vinegar for your dressing. Mix with 1 tablespoon of extra virgin olive oil.
  • green tea

*Protein shake, will help you to boost your metabolism to get rid of stored fat, burning more calories.  You will not jeopardize your health, but get all the appropriate nutrients.

Planning your menu in advance will help you keep track.  Try to keep a daily weight loss journal to write what you eat.  It will be easier for you.  Drink your 8 glasses of water throughout the day.

Have you wonder why your tummy is not responding to your abs exercises? Well, helloo.. how about stress???? 

Stress seriously affects your abs progress because the abdominal section it’s a target for the stress hormone cortisol. In simple words, when you are under constant pressure, your cortisol levels remain high.  Consequently, your body deposits more fat on your midsection, your abs — creating those unwanted love handles.

Stress does not help you maximize your abs exercises and get rid of those love handles.  Getting flat abs requires not only abs exercises and diet, but also have a peaceful mind not a stressfull situation. Simple as this.

Get Defined Abs with Abs Exercises and Nutrition to burn Stored belly Fat

Developing defined and toned abs not only requires ABS exercises, but also aerobic, core training and a good nutrition plan. Burning stored fat can be achieved by combining diet and exercises. To burn 1 pound of stored fat you need to burn 3,500 calories.

1.  To get defined abs and a toned midsection you should perform specific abdominal exercises to  work all the abdominal muscles, not only spot exercises. Besides abs exercises include cardio exercises at least 4 times a week.  You can start with 15 minutes, then go to 30 minutes, a 45-minutes to burn general stored fat.

2. Get an exercise ball.  They are great for crunches, twists and other movements to get all your abs/core muscles moving. It will help you to stabilize your torso on the ball because you use more muscles than when doing standard crunches or sit ups.

3. Nutrition – Watching what we eat is a great tool to help reach our goal to get those defined flat abs.

The logic is to burn stored body fat and gaining muscle with a good nutrition plan, not starving. 

Reduce your portion sizes and maintain a balanced meal, including carbs, protein, fiber, drink your 8 glasses of water and good fat. 

Main TIP is not to skip breakfast because this is your main meal after having your body resting (sleeping) for several hours.  Your body needs fuel for the day.  A good meal is to combine carbs, protein and fiber in the morning.

For example:

a. (carbs)  cup of oatmeals, whole grain bread.

b. (fiber) fruits;

c. (protein) eggs, cottage cheese, yogurt, milk, or a Protein Drink  to feed your muscles and boost your metabolism while getting the appropriate nutrients.

4. Do not skip Lunch. If you think you will lose more weight by skipping lunch you are wrong.  Skipping meals will not help you lose weight permanently but will slow down your metabolism. If you are in a hurry or just have no time to sit down for at least 30 minutes to have lunch, you can have a meal replacement to get all your nutritional needs.

Do Your Flat Abs Exercises Watching Your Favorite Show

A good idea to do your Abs Exercises is to include your routine while watching your favorite Television show. I did my Abs exercises while watching the soccer game Chelsea versus America.  I was cheering for Chelsea and they won 2-1.

Anyway, I did my “ABS EXERCISES”  (2 sets of each alternating 15 to 20 repetitions) while watching the game:

  • bicycle
  • sit ups and crunches on an exercise ball,
  • reverse crunches,
  • side bends
  • cable crunches
  • regular oblique crunches 
  • and seated oblique twists to improve my waistline on an exercise ball. 

Amazing, you see those soccer players with those magnificent FLAT ABS.  After all, they workout at least 5 days a week, plus burn stored fat with that much playing.  I wonder how many calories they burn during a 90-minute match.  Maybe it’s time for me to start playing soccer hahahahahahahha.

By the way, which Chelsea player has the best FLAT ABS?

I think John Terry has great abs, as well as Lampard.

Toning Abs Workout to tone my midsection

I had a great ABS TONING WORKOUT while watching the Copa America Semifinal Mexico-Argentina.  I planned to exercise during the match because it was harder to go to the gym and easier to enjoy my favorite sports while working towards my flat abs.

WHAT TO DO: 

Toning your  stomach muscles or the “kangaroo pouch” takes dedication.  It is not necessary to work out your abs muscles every day because MUSCLES need time to recover and achieve that dreamed “flat abs”.  Hence, you can plan doing your ABS EXERCISES every 2 days. 

You can start with simple abs exercises, doing 1 set  of 10-15 repetion.

  • Basic abs exercises include crunches, sit ups and side bends.

Here is the secret to get rid of that flabby tummy: watch out your nutrition, what you eat.  It is important to burn stored fat for your toned muscles to show.

By the way, ARGENTINA wonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn ….  so the final will be BRAZIL-ARGENTINA… both are my favorite teams.

Are you exercising, doing crunches, sit ups, yet not seeing those flat abs? I know it is hard and we all dream of having those flat abs. However, maybe we exercise too hard instead of exercising smartly. Here are 3 Simple Weight Loss Tips to help you find out why you are not getting your flat abs, how to get flat abs fast, lose belly fat, get rid of that bloated tummy and tone your midsection for tighten abs. Sounds good? Awesome, continue reading. Just remember, you need to burn 3500 calories to burn 1 pound of stored fat.

Remember, you need to burn 3500 calories to get rid of 1 pound of body fat. Abs exercises alone will not help you get rid of all the thick stored fat around your midsection. However, doing a cardio exercise routine will help you boost your metabolism and burn general stored fat, which obviously include that fat around your midsection. This is your main key to get your flat abs fast and eliminate those love handles, or if you prefer to call it your spare tire.

1. Lie face up on the floor, keep your fingers behind your head.
2. Now, bring your knees in towards the chest while lifting the shoulder blades off the ground. Attention: don’t pull your neck while doing this move.
3. Imitate the bicycle movement by extending your left leg out just to about a 45-degree angle while simultaneously turning your upper body to the right side, bringing your left elbow towards your right knee. 4. Repeat the movement with the other side and alternate just as pedaling your bicycle.

Now, listen carefully, these exercises alone will not give you a magic spot reduction as there is no spot reduction without burning general stored fat. This is the reason why you need to include a CARDIO exercise routine to help you eliminate body fat, deflat your belly, and get rid of a bloated tummy.
